A project carried out by ReVamp involved the refurbishment of a listed cottage situated on the edge of the green in a County Durham village.
The stone-built cottage had been poorly rendered many years ago and was in desperate need of restoration. ReVamp's task was to remove the render, repair the stonework, and repoint the masonry.
Much of the existing stone was soft limestone, which had to be removed and replaced.
The completed project highlights the successful restoration of the listed cottage, preserving its historical character while ensuring structural integrity.
